How to use your Paperleaf files
Every planner, notebook and insert ships as a hyperlinked PDF. Here is how to get it onto your device and make the most of it.
GoodNotes (iPad, iPhone, Mac, Android)
- 01Download the PDF on the device you plan on — it lands in Files or Downloads.
- 02Open GoodNotes and tap the + (New) button in your library.
- 03Choose Import, then browse to the PDF in Files or iCloud Drive.
- 04Tap the file. GoodNotes converts it into an editable notebook with hyperlinks intact.
- 05Open the notebook and switch the pencil off (read-only mode) to tap tabs and dates.
Zinnia
- 01Save the PDF to Files on your iPad.
- 02Open Zinnia and tap the + button, then Import.
- 03Select PDF and pick the Paperleaf file.
- 04Choose Keep original size so margins and hyperlink hot spots stay aligned.
- 05Add stickers from your Zinnia sticker library on top of any page.
Noteshelf
- 01Tap the + button in the Noteshelf library and choose Import.
- 02Pick Files, then select the downloaded Paperleaf PDF.
- 03Open the notebook and tap the hand/reading icon in the toolbar to enable link tapping.
Kindle Scribe
- 01Download the PDF on a computer or phone.
- 02Send it to your device with the Send to Kindle app, the Send to Kindle web page, or by emailing it to your device's @kindle.com address.
- 03Open it from your Kindle Scribe library. Choose our Scribe-sized editions for the crispest e-ink rendering.
- 04Use the on-page tabs to jump between sections — Scribe supports internal PDF links.
Any other app
Notability, Samsung Notes, Xodo, Adobe Acrobat and most PDF readers open Paperleaf files directly. If your app supports PDF links, our navigation works.
How hyperlinked navigation works
The tabs down the side, the month names, the dates in each calendar grid and every index entry are real PDF links. Tapping one jumps straight to that page — no scrolling.
If a tap draws a line instead of navigating, your app is in writing mode. Switch to read-only (the hand or eye icon in most apps) and links become tappable again.
Printing
Print-ready editions include trim sizes and optional bleed. Print at 100% / Actual size — never Fit to page — so the grid spacing stays true.
Re-downloading your purchases
Sign in and open your library. Everything you have bought or claimed stays there for good. Download again from that page at any time, or use Resend my downloads to email yourself a fresh set of links.
Download links in emails expire after a short window for security — request a new email whenever you need one.
